with refractory stones or bricks. On the Korean Peninsula, this type of kiln was introduced as an influence from the Yue ware kilns from Zhejiang, China. They applied for early celadon production in the central-western region of the country around the 10th century (during the Goryeo Dynasty). Built on slopes of about 15 degrees and extending up to 40 meters in length, they were larger than mud-built kilns.
